Alumni Random Assistance

The Clark College Alumni Association Random Assistance program was developed in an effort to provide a direct connection between alums and current Clark students. Through random acts of generosity, Clark College alums present $25 Clark College Bookstore gift cards to students purchasing books and supplies from the bookstore.

As noted in the April 2, 2003, edition of The Columbian, the award “will make it a little easier [for Clark student Damian Janke] to pay his rent this month.”

Officially launched on April 1, 2003, the program has met with rave reviews and enthusiastic support. As of April 2007, the Alumni Association has awarded over $8,000 in Random Assistance to Clark students. This is a testament to the continued dedication and commitment Clark alums have for Clark College and its students.
