Alumni Association Scholarship Alumni Association Scholarship

In direct response to troubling economic times, the Clark College Alumni Association chose to award two full-tuition scholarships for the 2009-2010 academic year during the 6th Annual Clark College Alumni-Student Dinner.  This year’s recipients, Staci Bradshaw and Linda Wagar, are both shining examples of Clark College students.  Staci is a Running Start student studying mathematics and hopes to achieve her A.A. from Clark College and transfer to a four-year university in Washington state.   Linda plans to graduate from Clark this June with her A.A. and begin the Addiction Counseling program at Clark.  Linda is a returning student who has spent the last 30 years assisting youth to meet their individual, educational, and emotional challenges.

Typically, the Clark College Alumni Association awards a $3,000 scholarship to an exceptional Clark College student for their second-year tuition.  The applicants must complete 24 credits at the end of winter quarter with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better to qualify.

Scholarship Endowment Campaign

With the intent of raising $100,000 to endow a scholarship fund, the Clark College Alumni Association embarked on a scholarship campaign in October 2005. The $100,000 endowment will provide at least one full-tuition scholarship on an annual basis. However, with donations, pledges, and interest earnings so far of just under $76,000, we are still well short of the goal of $100,000.

Won't you join the members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and scores of other friends of Clark College who have given thus far to help make this dream a reality? Your support will help provide motivation, opportunity, and financial support to committed, hardworking students.
