Holiday Gingerbread Contest Holiday Gingerbread Contest

The Clark College Alumni Association Holiday Gingerbread Contest provides a showcase for the talented students enrolled in culinary art educational programs in our community. The money raised through the contest, from both Gingerbread entry sponsorships and entry votes, support Clark College Culinary Arts scholarships. The 2006 Holiday Gingerbread Contest raised more than $2,500.

Gingerbread contest entries are displayed at Westfield Vancouver Mall. Each display case is equipped with a ballot box to allow viewers to vote-$1 equals one vote-for their favorite creation. Thanksgiving weekend, the displays are moved to the Vancouver Convention Center at the Hilton Hotel where they become part of the Vancouver Festival of Trees.
