Class Notes August 2014

Beacock Music, a family-owned business since 1976 and one of the largest independent music stores in the United States, earned the National Association of Music Merchants award for Best Merchandising and Display for 2014. The company was also chosen as the association’s Top 100 Dealers, according to the Vancouver Business Journal. Dale Beacock ’50 the former co-owner of the company with his wife Susan, was a long-time Clark College professor. His children, Gayle ’81 and Russ ’81, now run the business.

Anthony ’13 and Rochelle Schlecht are the proud new parents of a daughter, born July 24, 2014.
