Clark offers excellent, affordable education and yet, many deserving students still face hurdles—limited financial resources, family obligations, job commitments—that make it difficult to get an education. With the escalating costs associated with a quality education and decreasing sources of financial aid, scholarships are more critical than ever.
Scholarships create amazing transformations in the lives of Clark College students. For many, education is the key for breaking the cycle of poverty. Talented individuals, regardless of income, are nurtured and groomed for success through their education and experiences at Clark. But most importantly, after they graduate, these individuals are more likely to stay right here—or return for more education—and become business owners, employees, volunteers, and community leaders in Southwest Washington.
Clark College Foundation has a variety of scholarship options already in place for you to choose from. Or, you can start your own scholarship.

Penguin Promise at Clark College
Penguin Promise is a college preparatory and scholarship program partnership between Clark College and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington (BGCSW) that inspires the dream of a college education and prepares members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington to graduate from high school, and enroll and succeed at Clark College.
The college and BGCSW work collaboratively to ensure the readiness of the select students. Once admitted to Clark, students are matched with a mentor and receive top-off scholarship funding to assist with tuition, fees and books.
Penguin Promise participants will engage in college prep activities that include entrance exams, the college application processes, financial aid counseling and many other support mechanisms to ensure success.
