Eileen McGoffin – McGoffin was the first woman disc jockey and broadcaster in the Pacific Northwest. She served in the women’s section of the Marine Corp. from 1944 to 1945, repairing aircraft radios. Later, she helped form the Cedar Creek Writer’s group and was recognized as one of their most published members.
